During printer reworks, if asked to update a driver for a printer, use these instructions. Otherwise, the driver installation will continue to fail.

Step 1

In your Windows Search bar, type Printers and hit Enter.

Step 2

On the Printers & scanners page, click the printer that is requesting the driver update.

Step 3

Click the remove button to remove the printer from your laptop.

Step 4

Re-add the printer by using either method below.

Adding printers using Method 1 is still a work in progress, so if this method fails, you will need to use Method 2.

Click Add Device and from the list of printers found, re-install your printer.
